E-Drive

Every wheelchair user will experience the benefits of the E-Drive system from Decon. For daily use at work, to the shops or at home. The user can operate the wheelchair themselves using the joystick or simply put the E-Drive in the free position and use the push rims exactly as a manual wheelchair.

E-Drive is suitable for indoors and outdoors.

The E-Drive offers three types of control options: joystick for user, standard attendant control, or the intuitive simplex attendant control.

The attendant can also drive the wheelchair using the E-Drive attendant control. With the optional intuitive simplex attendant control, the wheelchair moves naturally with the attendant. The wheels are equipped with a quick release axle and are easy to disassemble and take with you due to their low weight of only 7kg. The E-Drive is compatible with 99% of all manual wheelchairs.

The E-Drive comes as standard with a Nickel Metal Hydride battery (NiMH) or you can upgrade to the Lithium-ion battery. Both are IATA approved for air travel.

Joystick

The E-Drive joystick can be positioned on either the left or right side with the added option for the joystick to swing away allowing easier access to tables, it can also help when transferring out of your wheelchair. The joystick display has an LCD screen and can be seen in the sunlight. For users that wish to have different joystick tops there are several options available.

The new smarter attendant control that works in combination with the Decon E-Drive. An intuitive additional control that enables the attendant to push and pull using minimal effort.

The Simplex attendant control is easy to mount on your wheelchair and you can easily adjust it to fit your ergonomics. Once fitted to your chair, you will experience unprecedented manuverability and control.

A smooth control unit, the Simplex is an accessory that can be integrated with the E-Drive electric drive system, which in turn is combined with a manual wheelchair or tilt in space wheelbase. Simplex is designed to assist the caregiver or relative when manoeuvring a wheelchair or wheelbase. It aims to offer power assistance and improved mobility for manual wheelchair users.

Easy to mount with the simple assembly kit, you can use Simplex on a vast majority of wheelchairs.
