The Geo-Matrix™ Split cushion offers users who require positioning and contouring with excellent pressure redistribution and vibration control. The Split cushion features an 8” split directly through the centre of the pommel. This allows wedges to be inserted under one or even both sides of the cushion’s leg trough region to accommodate the desired hip angle required for each individual user. The Split cushion comes with a “fit kit” of various wedges. Each wedge secures to the base of the cushion using velcro. These wedges can be added or removed as needed for on-the-spot customization. This also allows for modifications to be easily made to the cushion if the user’s condition changes.
To further the Splits custom feel and protection there are three different insert options that may be added underneath the high-risk coccyx area.
